Dimensions: de Gournay wallpapers are produced as panels in any height up to 4.3m. Total panel length is 0.60 more than the chosen design height when ordering via the straight run method and 0.30m more than your wall height when ordering via the tailored method. These wallpapers are 0.915m wide after trimming except where marked. Customisation of design elements, colourways and panel heights are fully available though subject to additional charge.

The motif updates more traditional compositions of birds and flowers for a vivid ‘Tropical’ variation, created in collaboration with Edgardo Osorio, founder and creative director of luxury footwear brand Aquazzura.
Referencing existing designs from de Gournay’s collections such as ‘Sans Souci’: a luxuriant garden scene inspired by certain Chinese wallpapers at Chatsworth House, not to mention exotic elements visible within many historic painted papers throughout the 18th century, the subject matter is combined with eclectic source material of Osorio’s own, from 19th century botanical illustrations to floral artworks by contemporary painters.
The resulting ‘Jungle’ depicts a dazzling array of exotic flora and fauna amidst lush palms and banana leaf plants. Toucans, Lovebirds, Parrots and Macaws (varieties of bird not previously used within our collections) fill a landscape of decorative flair alongside jewel toned serpents, ornate butterflies and swinging monkeys.
Its striking design colours first displayed upon a custom pink Edo painted silk, based on the pastel walls of Aquazzura’s Florentine Palazzo headquarters, the scene retains the same visual splendour against vivid and monochromatic grounds alike.
