Details: This trimming is an adaptation of original tassels that Tony Duquette custom made to his specifications, which were grandly scaled for dramatic effect. For his clients, Duquette used them to trim draperies, and also placed them along the skirts of sofas, doubling them up to create a thick, rich fringe along the edges of his work.
