Details: Duquette loved incrustations from the sea, and used shells, coral, sea weed and even gold plated lobsters liberally in many of his decorative installations. This versatile cut velvet is inspired by the patterns of deep-sea brain coral, a motif that was used by Tony Duquette in various sizes. The plush silky pile of Corallino is woven against a fine herringbone weave, and edged with uncut epingleloop texture in coordinating or contrasting color combinations.
