Details: Of all the semi-precious stones in Tony Duquette's playbook, malachite was by far his favorite. He always said, "Green is a neutral color" and he often proclaimed, "Malachite is my fetish stone." In his work, Tony Duquette used malachite patterns for floors, carpets, curtains, upholstery, and as inlay on chairs, tables and picture or mirror frames of all shapes and sizes.
