The Agnes was originally created as a standalone sculpture before it was adapted into a lamp base. With a form evocative of the work of Spanish sculptor Eduardo Chillida, the new Bronze finish creates an intriguing patination that highlights the smooth curves of the piece.

Agnes was a sculpture that we created as a standalone object until we decided to adapt the shape to form a lamp base. Decorated in a white plaster finish, the light falls in varyingly soft tones across the surface of the figure, highlighting the form and creating subtle contrasts.

Details: The textural Ara lamp, designed in collaboration with Artist, Maddie Rose Hills. Base heavy with a slender neck, the Ara’s organic curved body has been carefully cast in jesmonite with a ceramic inclusion. Meticulously hand-finished in our painting studio, making each one unique.
