Details: The soundest sleep is had when one feels enveloped in security, softness and quiet. The generous elements of the Divan nightstand are themselves wrapped in parchment - a soft, natural material. The lower shelf has a stepped platform and soft cove veneered with a special open-grain ivory wood. The drawer-front is overlaid with raw gypsum - a loved material of the 1920's - that is edged with solid brass. Inside the drawer is a deep verdigree green leather.
