Details: An original design from the 1960s created for an American necktie brand, this archival stripe was commissioned by Jim Thompson and woven by the Baan Krua community, his neighbors, long before our own mill was established in 1989. Now reimagined on a larger scale, it is woven in?house using a handloom. To maximize the usability of our Thai silk, nylon warp has been innovated into the construction, giving this sumptuous, textured Thai silk a strength of over 100,000 Martindale turns. Its rhythmic colors and broad stripes make it a versatile, timeless choice for any space. Offered in two striking colorways.
