Alchemy describes the magical and mysterious powers of transforming something commonplace into something extraordinary. This collection of textiles, trimmings and wallcovering is inspired by precious metals. Metallic effects transform these materials into beautiful surfaces with luxurious detail. Many of the fabrics have matte shine effects or twisted metallic yarns, which are combined with the natural beauty of flax and cotton fibers. Included are several sheers and curtain weight fabrics that are composed of linen and are given metallic accents for a modern look.
Details: Saraburi is named for a province in Thailand that is known for its beautiful Buddhist temples and for its handwoven textiles. This charming printed linen fabric features temples, elephants and tigers, all created in a style that resembles traditional ikat patterns. Fresh colors, from mandarin orange to aquamarine, are all accented with white, giving this traditional pattern a crisp new look.
