Details: Panlong, which is the Chinese word for dragon, features the fantastical creatures dancing across our classic, shimmering two-ply Khemarin hand woven slubbed silk. This mystical design, which is inspired by Chinese folklore and adapted from a mid-twentieth century design discovered in Thompsons personal archive, is discharge printed, an intricate method that uses water-based inks to remove the background color prior to printing its pattern.
